Hi, Iām Janelle.
In 2001, I joined the ranks of EMS as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) where I volunteered for 22 years. During those years, I saw many chronic illnesses that could have been prevented through simple food and lifestyle choices. As a mom of 9, I want to be able to give my children and grand children a solid knowledge of food and nutrition so that they can avoid so many chronic conditions that plague society today.
In 2023, I went back to school to get my certificate as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. After years of treating emergencies, I switched gears to helping people before they have an emergency. I have opened my own practice in Burnt Hills, New York, helping the very community I know and love from years of EMS service. Now I am able to help those struggling with chronic conditions using a nutrient-dense diet, coupled with sleep strategies, stress reduction, and blood sugar regulation. Together, I work hand-in-hand with my clients to find a system that works for them. I believe in bio-individuality and that no one person is the same. Let me help you achieve your health goals so that you can live the life you dream of.
My Approach
I believe that God has given us the beauty and nutrition of food to help restore our bodies to a healthy balance. By reducing and/or removing heavily processed foods and giving our body nutrient dense foods, I believe that you are able to help your body begin the process of healing. This process is not a sprint but indeed a marathon. By making small changes bit by bit, we can make much large changes in ones health. There is a no one-size fits all approach with nutritional therapy but it is the understanding of bio-individuality and each body is unique. I will honor that bio-individuality and strive to find holistic solutions for my clients current health challenges.
